Meet a girl, she makes it a point to state that she likes to "take things slow". For me, I have enough women lined up that this isn't a problem, I figure if she really is that slow, I'll just friend-zone her for social proof. It never hurts to have neutral women to take out to the club or bars as it really does make a big difference with attracting other women (plus she has friends).

Anyway, 2 dates in and a few phone calls she is already planning Halloween with me and has mentioned wanting to go on a trip to California together; she was also getting really clingy and sexual (sending me texts about her masturbating to thoughts of me, etc). Now, I'm getting some red flags here at this point and am getting ready to pump the brakes a little; the sexual texts are fine, but the trip plans are borderline. See, we hadn't had sex yet and I hadn't really escalated much over the two dates simply because of what she had said about "taking things slow" (however I had planned to see how far I could get on the third date after so much obvious interest and sexual energy she was throwing at me). Then the bomb drops. She wants to cancel our original plans for the third date and have us meet up with her family at a lake. I gently tell her that I'm not ready to take that step yet and that we should continue with our original date plans.

She goes silent. I assume it's a lost cause and delete her number. Two days later, she sends me a text saying: "sorry I haven't texted you but I got really busy" and "I'm just weirded out a little that you thought I wanted you to meet my parents, because that's not what I was trying to do at all"; yeah, okay honey, you didn't want me to meet your parents, but you wanted to take me to the beach with them SMH. Anyway, I'm at this point not buying in to it and go for my plan B and try to friend-zone her. I ignore the bullshit excuses and simply respond with "let's go to the club this weekend, bring your friends and I'll bring mine."

More silence. Again, I assume it's not going to work and forget about her. A week later, she sends me a text "hey I am really sorry but I don't feel a spark even though I like you as a person... (more bullshit, etc)". To which I respond, "it's cool, I'll just delete your number then". To which she responds back "I'm really sorry, I would hope that we could be friends because I enjoy talking to you about stuff, but I understand if that would be too awkward for you" SMH; it's not awkward for me darlin', you seem to think I'm more invested here than I actually am.

So yeah, AWALT, Hamster, and clingy crazy behavior all in one package. I have a feeling if I do successfully friend-zone her at this point, this "likes to take it slow" girl will be all over me again, suddenly feeling that "spark" the instant she see's me talking to other women.
