Background

Felt like a good day to go out for a cigar (Rocky Patel Royale in case anyone was wondering). The first snow fall of the season seemed like a good excuse. So I went to my local mall where my wife was working.

Situation

Went outside of the exit where the Subway is. Lit up. People were rushing between the mall entrance and the subway not to get snow on them. Who knew snow melts people?

I was standing at the astray pedestal, about 15 feet from the entrances. I casually watched the crowds walk between entrances. back straight and looking like I had a "purpose" other then getting cold while smoking.

One other person (Asian male) ended up showing up to smoke, clearly a beta and no self-confidence. As he lit up he started to kick snow and stare emptily into his feet not paying attention to anyone around him.

An Asian girl walked by, perhaps 8/10. Straight for me to ask for directions. I gave them to her, without caring that she was trying to get my attention. In the background, the guy was getting upset, kicking snow harder, because she walked right by him to talk to me.

She asked "So where are you heading to?", and I told her I was waiting for my wife. She said "Oh okay, thank you" as she walked off.

By this time, the Asian guy was completely spiteful of the situation, threw nearly half a cigarette to the ground and stormed off.

Conclusion

Standing around like you have a purpose will get people to come up to you. Not giving a fuck, as in my case, helps your cause, and does get a girl interested to continue the conversation. Women smell desperation and avoid it.

Getting upset, because you "feel" like a girl should come up to talk to you, because of race, religion or creed, being the same as your own, does nothing to help your cause.
