Guy in my salsa/bachata class has befriended several women by suggesting drinks and go out dancing as a group.

It typically ends up being 2 betas and 2 women, making me the odd man out.

As a follow up, I will usually ask what his intentions are, and he explicitly stated “I am just trying to network” and “I am not looking for anything.” He actually made out with one of the ladies he befriended, but he lost early on once he started begging to go to her house right after they tongue kissed. He lost frame.

Tonight, I had the sole intention of getting this one ladies number and inviting her out for drinks dancing etc. Just me, no group, no nothing. Just me and the lady.

He intervened, and says “Hey, you should come dancing with us! Me, Danielle, and Ashley.” I simply walk away because he wants to again, be friends with another lady from our salsa class, but he selectively chooses the best looking ones to approach.

I broke things down to him after and asked why he didn’t suggest she and him go out to dance together, but he says “I’m not looking for anything” and “if I were, it would take me a year or so of getting to know her.”

He then goes on some BS tangent and says “I’m here just to network” but the fucking guy is already making close to $80k.

I gave the guy a ton of shit, busted his balls, and told him to stop trying to be friends with ladies he secretly wants to bang their brains out.

Even though I didn’t get the number I wanted, hopefully something good can come out of this situation.

TL;DR - Beta friend again swooped in to befriend another woman from our salsa class. I gave him shit and reminded him to stop trying to be friends with women. He could be a feminist...
