TL;DR There is a common notion on this sub that women's libidos think being an Alpha is genetic (I'll call this Assumption A). I'm proposing an alternate hypothesis that raises less questions: Women's libidos rewards alpha behaviour (I'll call this Assumption B).

Let's begin.

The main problem with Assumption A is that if they women's instincts thought option being alpha was genetic, then men who showed beta traits would be out of the gene pool. And I mean zero attraction from then on. But that's not the case. We've all heard of men who were friendzoned (orbiters) who distanced themselves from the woman they had a crush on, moved on, and maybe 2 years later (but still well before she hit the wall), she sees him and finds him attractive. If Assumption A was true then she'd never see him as a viable sexual option.

Conversely let's use Assumption B. Here there is no conflict with men who are beta's breaking out of orbit and becoming becoming alphas. He's not attractive as a wimp. But once he starts standing up from himself and becomes Alpha, the same woman who saw him as sexually appealing as a lamp, now sees him as an option.

It's like with rdeadbedrooms. We have seen multiple stories of guys turning alpha and the bedroom resurrects itself into a fuck cave. But let's see which assumption better explains these stories.

Assumption A: There'd be no solution. Even if the guy turns into an alpha she'd still find him unattractive, maybe respectable, but the bedroom would stay dead.

Assumption B: He was beta and she doesn't find him attractive. He does a,b, and c hoping she'd do x,y,and z. He then does a,b,c,d,e,and f for her but she has no reason to reciprocate when she gets all these things for free. And then he stops that, works on himself and improves his smv until he is alpha. Then her libido reward that behaviour.

Let's think back to the prehistoric era. What would be better for a tribe. If Assumption A is true then a man who showed weakness in the tribe, would lose any chance of reproduction and would have no further reason to stay, or live, other than to see enough of his siblings survive their genes.

Assumption B: If a man shows weakness in tribal combat or when confronted with a dangerous animal, then sure he'd be a bad option to mate with. But if he from that point onward shows consistent bravery, then it would be in the tribe's best interest to reward that behaviour. That way every guy knows that he can work hard and he still has a shot at reproduction. Which tribe would die out first? The tribe that incentivised people to become alphas or the tribe that threw those men's chances into the gutter?

In fact would it make sense if a man who is a beta becomes the greatest alpha in the tribe, who can best any man in combat and best protect the tribe from danger, but his genes don't get passed on because of a prior reputation? Even though he can become the greatest? It seems to me that given the amount of men who exist today with beta traits, that Assumption B was the successful mating strategy.

Addressing concerns:

Usually I see Assumption A brought up when talking about why women think PUA, or TRP is manipulative. So you might respond to this by saying, "If women don't instinctively feel being alpha is genetic, then why do they find TRP to be manipulation?", my response is that in line with Assumption B: If you have to be taught how to be alpha, if you have to still rely on a subreddit to give you your personality, if you use PUA tactics to mask insecurity, then you aren't ready yet. You aren't independently alpha yet, and if she sleeps with you then she would be rewarding betas who would easily lapse back into beta behaviour. Her libido is supposed to reward alpha traits, and dependence (on a subreddit) isn't one of them.

This isn't to say that you have to leave this subreddit once you're done improving yourself, I'll still be here once that day comes because I enjoy the field reports and news reports. I'm just saying that from an outside perspective, this is the equivalent of a water bra or ass padding.
