But I have never been made to feel more like a mutated outsider than in feminist circles.

That's because feminism isn't about equality for women. It's about superiority for women at the expense of men. Women want to be "special" and you're competition.

I expected to be treated like a human fucking being. I expected to be treated like something at least in the ballpark of a peer. I expected the slightest iota of compassion from any "fellow" feminist when I felt my resolve wavering. And you know what, yeah, I expected a fucking cookie or two.

This is why women hate "nice guys"...Entitlement. All your pussy worshipping and white knighting doesn't entitle you to pussy. That's not how women get their gina tingles.

I wonder if this guy had a gf the entire time...cause I'm sure she would be ashamed.

I know how he feels though. I used to hangout with folks like this and other activists, but it really goes the same way as any social circle. I met plenty of cool nice people, and plenty of shit-bags that were just there to get their rocks off by putting the white-cis-male in his place. Actually called one of them out on that because one was doing a lot of guy bashing, and they used some bullshit about how "they were acting that way because they are mentally unstable due to patriarchy blah blah" when this person comes from a background WAY MORE privileged than mine (socioeconomically speaking).

I am no longer active with this circle of people as they all seemed really fucking self-centered, obnoxious, egotistical, and most importantly, they did not accomplish ONE FUCKING THING through activism other than handing out DIY zines at book fairs, and other events.

For the record though, I consider myself a red-piller. But I don't think All women are bitches either. Regardless of race, gender, sexuality etc.. I hold people accountable for their actions and judge accordingly. I used to hangout with a lot of feminist and LGBT+ friendly people and was never called out on anything really. I even kissed a feminist girl without asking her once (wound up in a short relationship with her) and didn't get charged for rape! lol.. In fact, I remember joking with her cause she thought it was fucked up to not ask before a kiss, and I said "I don't think I asked you, and you seemed okay with it." She just smiled and gave me a little joke punch lol.

This guy is a total validation seeker. He's so butthurt about not being validated for being an "ally". Constantly seeking approval from others is gross, needy behavior. A man doesn't care about what others think of him. He acts through his own intentions and says "take it or leave it".

Inherent in the very idea of being an "ally" is that you're playing second fiddle. It's their movie, not yours.

I can picture how awkward this guy is now. He probably shows up at feminist "meetups" - being the only guy - and creeps the hell out of the girls. Girls that are generally not even that attractive in the first place. He probably doesn't talk much, just listens to the conversation and laughs at their awful jokes in hopes that they will like him.
