It all stems from the fundamental axiom of the social engineer: That all people are born blank slates and have no feelings, beliefs or ideas until society tells them what to believe.

Rape is bad. All rape includes and only occurs because of a rapist. Were rapists not to exist, rape would not exist. Rapists are only rapists because society raised them to be rapists. If we don't raise people to be rapists, rape would not occur.

Not being loved is bad. Fat women are not loved. The cause of fat women not being loved is people not loving them. If people were raised to love fat women, fat women would be loved. We should raise people to love fat women.

Gender roles limit women's options to do what they want with their life. Gender roles exist because people want gender roles to exist, or because of biological imperative. Biological imperative does not exist, therefore gender roles are caused exclusively by people wanting gender roles to exist. If we raise people not to want gender roles to exist, gender roles would not exist and thus women could choose what to do with their lives.

Do you recognise this kind of reasoning? It isn't exclusive to feminism, but they seem to apply the axiom most consistently in their arguments, so they are the most obvious cases of it. Anything besides undermining the axiom itself is argumentatively irrelevant and wont get you anywhere, and trying to actually argue such a central axiom that everything they believe is built on is wrong is simply not something you can convince them of in one sitting.

it's not really feminist theory, it's just that sheltered, privileged, entitled white women make up the majority of vocal feminists. they have never been exposed to reality. they've never been attacked by somebody, they've never been mugged, they've never seen children begging in the street or packs of starving wild dogs fighting over scraps in alleys. they've never seen the horrors that this world imposes outside of their innocent bubble. they've never had to have foresight to protect themselves from being exploited because our society has been built to shelter kids from the real horrors of nature, so they are appalled that they actually have to practice some foresight to minimize a few paltry dangers as adults.

it's not fair! they should never have to do anything to protect themselves from danger! it's not fair that there are bad people in this world! it's like somebody complaining that the it's not fair that they can't wear jewelry on a stroll through the barrio without fear of getting mugged. they are still naive and innocent to the world, so i've learned to pay them no mind. if they want to throw caution to the wind out of an ideological principle, they will have to learn the hard way.

i don't waste any thought on how some people feel entitled to be found attractive by the opposite sex. those people are even more delusional. simply put, attraction is not a choice and cannot be negotiated. you have to work to make yourself into a person that inspires attraction.
