What do you want back from her that you weren't getting from her when you cheated? Most cheaters I know are just afraid of change and would rather maintain the status quo than be honest about who and what they want.

I don't advocate cheating. If you make a commitment stick to it.

If you can't stick to the commitment, or don't want to, don't make the commitment. There is nothing wrong with not making commitments.

Most of the time there is little or no reason to make commitments.

Lying and cheating are more headache then they are worth. Eventually, everybody gets caught. Also, I think it's way more Alpha to just own it and be the "honest asshole". Personally, I went non-monogamous / poly and never looked back. I'm WAY happier now in my "open and honest" poly relationships, than I ever was in a monogamous relationship.

Don't commit to monogamy if you don't intend monogamy. (My marriage is explicitly open for me and not for her.) If the girl you're with isn't happy with your terms then find one who is, and/or increase your SMV until she decides you're worth it.

My policy is to never cheat. If you don't want to commit, then find some girls who are okay with that.

If you cheat, you will eventually get caught and the trouble is not worth it. Also, life isn't just about sex. Men tend not to respect cheaters. I know I wouldn't want to go into business with a guy who cheats on his wife. If he would stab his wife in the back, why wouldn't he do it to me? If I know someone who is offering a high paying job, I wouldn't recommend a cheater. You can't really quantify the opportunity cost of cheating, but it does exist because I know some cheaters and other people of in positions of power don't help them out.

You often hear that success is all about connections. Lying destroys connections, even if you are not directly lying to that person. People view you as untrustworthy and they won't go out of their way to help you out.

I think cheating is how traditionally, marriages have always worked. In a world where a divorce had to be granted by a judge, women were financially tied to their husbands, social stigmas against divorce, people married really young, very little in the way of dating, you're damn right people cheated.

I really don't understand why everyone gets their panties in a bunch about cheating.

Another point, this is a world where a 20-year-old FAT female intern can fuck the president of the US. Your ugly, fat, 40-year-old wife can fuck a hot 20-year-old athlete any time she wants. You really think she won't eventually at some point? Of course she will. It's truly insane to think otherwise. How would I feel about it? So fucking what.
