Introduction

Coed Groups are a good way to meet women.

Long ago when I was a young man (I'm now 55) I was involved in a Coed Vollyball Group. This group formed because we had all started off playing pickup Coed Volleyball in a local high school gym and the tradition developed so that afterwards we would go to the bar and have a few beers and socialize. This then started to spin off into trips to Lake Tahoe where we would bring a net and go there and play. This was all in the 1980's before volleyball became a "fashion statement". Our group actually won the Berkeley California Coed Volleyball League one year at the lower levels. It grew slowly over time and new people were regularly added... but they were carefully chosen to be sure they would fit the culture we created.

 

Those were great times.

 

One guy had a family cabin in Lake Tahoe and so we all used to hang out there.

 

Results

 

Well, there were loves, there were scandals, there were people who got married and had kids. There was life in that group.

Here are my observations of why it worked:

 

  • We all shared a common passion for a sport.

  • The women were attractive because the sport required you to be fit.

  • Masculine traits are permitted as part of the sport. (80 mph spikes)

  • The Coed mixture was roughly equal in male and female numbers.

  • Goal oriented women put their emotional tantrums to the side.

 

Conclusion

Coed Groups can be an excellent way to meet women and develop a real understanding of what makes them tick.

 

  • Too many women and not enough men and a Coed Group will suffer from the tone of the group being dominated by women which is a bad thing.

  • Too many men and too few women and some men will feel locked out and this will create infighting between the men and weaken the group dynamic.

 

Chad Thundercock is the "Lone Wolf" and cannot be part of a group.

Seek balance in a Coed Group.

Try to surround yourself with successful people with goals in life.
