Bad ideas are shot down without fail. So, I honestly don't see the big deal. And without new idea's this would just be a echo chamber circle jerk.

Couldn't the mods just have a longer wait period to post for new members in the main TRP forum? Might allow the information to sink in for new members. Perhaps, only have up voting for endorsed members and mods... otherwise just have to delete or move posts out of TRP which takes constant motivation.

I agree there needs to be more aggressive moderation, but with 240,000 subscribers, there's probably more shit to shovel than the Augean Stables. I only ever see 5 active mods, so that's 50000 people each.

More Mods? Sure, but new mods tend to throw baby out with bathwater, so the vetting process is and should be significant if you don't want the flavour of the batch to go off. Plus, it's a golden ticket...you know how much they get paid??? And the POWAHHH!

I'm on a mixed metaphor extravaganza today.
