Introduction

The movie "Daddy's Home" drips with TRP truths. Stepdad, Brad Whitaker, is a radio host trying to get his stepchildren to love him and call him Dad. But his plans turn upside down when the biological father, Dusty Mayron, returns.

Body:

Brad Whitaker (Will Ferrell) is a mild-mannered, kind hearted radio executive who always wanted to be a dad but cannot have children after a mishap at the dentists. He is able to fulfill his desire when he marries Sara (Linda Cardellini) – who has two children from a previous marriage. After eight difficult months, the children start to open up to Brad and this is the moment when the children’s biological dad, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) arrives and stays with the family for a week. Now the two men are battling it out for dominance.

Brad "Beta": a man who longs for nothing more than being the best father figure to his wife’s 2 kids from a previous marriage. He tries very hard, but it all is for naught.

Dusty "Alpha": muscular, motorbike riding and as cool as they come.

I don't want to give away examples and ruin the movie. But, if you want a visual concept of much of what is on this sub, watch the movie. I wanted to watch it so I could have a good laugh, instead I found myself catching TRP stuff in the movie. Brad made me angry, Dusty made me envious, and the bitch made me nauseous.

Conclusion: Good movie to put everything on this sub into context.

PS: Edit to try and comply with the formatting. I'm not exactly sure where this belongs, first post, but the movie affected me strong enough that I think you should have a watch.
