It never fails to rustle my jimmies when I see a perfectly good woman think that she is LESS of a person for considering being stay at home mom. I am not against women getting careers I just think that a "fast talking career gal" should be the exception rather than the norm. And I personally find nothing attractive about a woman in business attire pretending she is one of the guys!

It's strange because I help out with housework fairly equally with my girlfriend. Just I have always been independent since a child and it is what I do.

However my girlfriend also works a good job as well. If she was a stay home mom I can say for sure she would be doing the overwhelming majority and she always hints when doing things by saying wouldn't it be nice if I was stay at home and did these things for you. Even though I do equal amount of chores I am still the one who wears the pants in our household despite what people here say what will happen.

Whichever party stays at home should carry the burden of household duties and never whinge about it. There is no way any reasonable sized house would exceed the work week in chores.
