I'd call this a success. Good job. My own personal experience is that there's a category of women who are so timid and noncommittal that they're unable to ask questions of any kind, either about you or the topic you're both speaking about, so if she was asking you questions about either of those things (the topic or yourself) this is a really good sign.

Kino is also very important. Even if it's not immediately reciprocated, it sends the right signal immediately. It's important to have that out there the first or second time you speak, in my experience. I don't subscribe to the belief that you have to get all of the "no friend zone" signals out the first time you speak to a girl, but you have to have them out the second time. If it goes beyond the second time...next. I say this because I've been able to get what I'm looking for with many girls even after the first encounter was purely friendly. For some women, it takes a second encounter to warm up.

I wouldn't put too much weight on not smiling at departure. The absence of a smile might have signaled insecurity about the encounter, rather than confidence, but I think, based on what you've said, that the balance of the encounter went well enough that the absence of a smile wouldn't negate it. That said, smiling at departure is important (assuming you want things to continue) because it's one of the things she'll remember. If a girl is unsure about what happened between you (how you felt about it, for example) a parting smile tips the meter in the direction of escalation, and could do away with her uncertainty.

Balls on the kino, though. Good job. Keep it up.

It gets real easy. If you devote yourself to it, it becomes second nature. I'd keep in mind that people are all very different, so if what you're doing just doesn't work at all with some girls, don't sweat it. Don't wonder what you might have done wrong. Just move to the next girl.

That's still an approach, and it sounds like there was kino, even if it wasn't more assertive kino. The problem is this was a very small victory. You essentially laid the groundwork for friend zone, but it isn't unrecoverable. The next time you bump into her, you just need to up the ante a bit. Increase the kino a tad and close by asking for her number. Do this whether you really want to sleep with her or not. Practice is practice.

Just keep going mate. I tend to better orient my approches if ever. Knowing the girl is a good way to start a conversation, but in my experience leads to friendzoned and my guess is you're already there. You need to strike early and strike fast. Fuck "becoming friends" before a relationship. What she should read off you immediately is you're interested in a sexual/romantic manner. If she's laughing when you're speaking in those terms, not recoiling from touch etc. then you're probably good.

Pretty decent. Kino is more about positioning yourself comfortably close to the girl so it can naturally flow into the interaction. Sitting next/close to the girl rather than across from her will step your game up big time. Above all else the kino should feel natural and comfortable. Try using the conversation to set it up. For instance last night I was with a girl who I knew worked out legs earlier that day. I asked if they were sore to which she said yes and that led to an easy kino opportunity to squeeze her thigh (Ow omg quit XD) and make some sexy eye contact. It led to hooking up and it was our first time hanging out so you know that shit be working ha ha.
