Some great books in this list. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I have so many ideas to catch up on.

His other reading list has great books on it too: Free Man Reading List

[–]theblatherskyte2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

women's infidelity and the myth of male power should both be on that list.

[–]luxury_banana1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Women's infidelity is chock full of hamster rationalizations but there's some good take home lessons to be had when you cut through the bullshit.

Devlin's Rotating Polyandry - and its Enforcers is a good read alongside.

have you even read the book? the book directly addresses and attacks the hamster and has an entire section dedicated to rotating polyandry.

Yes I have read the book. Twice in fact. Langley herself seems to be a believer that DNA testing is some magical potion that can do away with the instinctual desire for a monogamous partner, among other hamsterizations. Her setup with the man she's interviewed seems very convenient, she wants to play him off as very unsympathetic (he cheated on a previous wife) so that she can push her point of view.

But any young man who reads her book as I did years ago will come away with an even stronger aversion to marriage.

Very interesting stuff. Looks like I've found what I'll be reading for the next few months.

Did I really just spend almost 2 hours reading the Reactionary Philosophy in a Nutshell article? Yes, and when I wake up tomorrow morning I will be picking out some of the Red Pill bits and posting them for all to read here, but for now sleep. Thanks for the link it is amazing and thought provoking!

I can't even start. All this esoteric almost ethereal lingo sounds like a joke. I'm reminded of the goth kids in high school. Stop trying so hard, k?

I thought the moderators took a hardline stance against the racist, pseudoscientific bullshit like HBD? So why is a thread about this "Dark Enlightenment" garbage here? Do the mods simply not know that "Dark Enlightenment" is HBD trash but in even a nerdier disguised package?

[–]Old_foundation2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This thread is a discussion about the post, not HBD.

Some people consider TRP thought to be a part of "Dark Enlightenment" and thus it is relevant to this board

[–]MrWillRedPill-1 points0 points1 point 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The Dark Enlightenment is just plain old HBD garbage mixed in with Star Wars fetishism and a little bit of game. Just because some HBD people want to incorporate TRP thought into their masturbatory race war fantasies doesn't mean that we're obligated to return the favor and include them in our lifestyle.

And I AM talking about the post. One section of the reading list in the post explicitly includes a section on HBD. There is HBD explicitly discussed in the post, so don't act like I'm mislabeling what this post is about.
