Summary:-Saying sorry without a good reason will shift the power of your relationship. Even if there is a good reason and she doesn't accept your apology, just leave.

Body

As humans we make mistakes, sometimes those mistakes are bad. That's when we apologise. When it is YOUR fault. Apologising too much makes you look submissive. The woman gains power in the relationship, they know how to push your buttons. She might cry because you said a mean comment, and you apologise. Nothing wrong with that? Yeah there is nothing wrong with that. But then you apologise she keeps crying, demanding you to give some sort of speech where you practically are begging for her to stop crying - that's where you fucked up. She is now acting entitled. She believes she is entitled to some sort of speech because she can't handle her own emotions - if she had brought up your mean comment in an adult manner and then you apologised that would have been fine. Instead she cried and caused a scene. And I'm not saying she's wrong for crying, but she is wrong for thinking she deserves EXTRA for her lack of control. That's when you start rewarding bad behaviour.

Ok so I can relate to this, what does it mean?

It means you've entered her frame now. From now on after you made her cry, you'll most likely be holding back in order to avoid another scene like that. You are now acting on her terms in order not to upset or offend her again. You've fucked up. Power has gone to her. And the fact is, you can't cry or get upset when she starts fucking with you - it'll make you look even weaker. The only option here is to next or breakup.

Iron Rule of Tomassi #7

It is always time and effort better spent developing new, fresh, prospective women than it will ever be in attempting to reconstruct a failed relationship. Never root through the trash once the garbage has been dragged to the curb. You get messy, your neighbors see you do it, and what you thought was worth digging for is never as valuable as you thought it was.

Lessons learned

  1. Apologise to an appropriate extent
  2. If you have apologised too much you are entering/in her frame
  3. If you've entered her frame either next or breakup
