My guess is the bouncer knew the girls and wanted to fuck them, is already fucking one of them, or had some random chip on his shoulder for why he didn't want you talking to them. After like 6 years of gaming this has happened to me maybe once or twice. It's extremely rare, just go about your night as best you can after if it ever happens again. If it starts happening regularly maybe its a sign you're being creepy/weird/socially uncalibrated, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Honestly I would have just bounced and gone elsewhere. That is super cringeworthy, huge blow to your social value in that club.

Was there any particular reason the bouncer felt the need to get involved? that seems pretty intense. I've never seen anything like that.

If you're a western in Asia it probably had more to do with that than anything else. He probably would have done that to any western looking guy unless they were clearly dropping heavy coin at the club.
