Introduction

Before I start explaining what embracing your shadow means, I need to give some backgrounds on myself.

I've been reading, exploiting the "dark" technics of life for few years already, so I cannot certify a new comer will understand my theory and everything I say.

During my journey I discovered many methods to control my emotions, enforce my discipline and progress in a productive manner. Some methods are the following:

  1. Watch videos to motivate myself.

  2. Get inspired by a caracter or a famous figure.

  3. Read as much as I can about control, discipline ect...

  4. Be in the present.

  5. Control my thoughts.

  6. Gain control over my left and right brain.

Most of these methods work ...at the beginning.

Now the issue is: reading, focusing, getting inspired or gaining control of your body requires a lot of energy and motivation. And the issue with energy or motivation is : both don't last.

Work, sex or a hobby take a lot of your energy and it takes time to get it back. While you take a rest, your mind can change and get used to bad habits. This is where you're very vulnerable. And this is why progression takes so long: people take breaks and unintentionally forget to evolve.

When you're vulnerable, your shadow sees a opportunity to take control.

What is "my shadow" ?

Your shadow is everything you tend to censor in your mind, it's the little voice in your head: the Devil, the "bad" parts in you. Your inner demon.

Your shadow is another part of you in your brain. It's very vicious: it uses suggestion to make you make things. It makes you think certain ideas come from you, but they come from him without you noticing. Tha'ts why it's called "your shadow": he is here, behind you but you don't pay attention to him. Since you were born you had one. Everything you saw or do, he saw and done it too.

When I learned how to control my left and right brain, I've noticed most of his whispers come from the right brain (for me).

What are the benefits ?

Total control. And I'm not kidding.

Since I started embracing my shadow, I am myself. Totally.

I no longer feel fear. My annoying emotions are gone. I can see things clear. I am productive. I know what to do to move foward. I feel focused and can think faster and solve problems easier.

I'm in peace: no more anger over stupid things and stupid people. Other persons mood or emotions don't affect me anymore.

I never felt so good and I know what my body needs.

Why and how do you embrace your shadow ?

First thing to do is to accept him. He is here and will stay with you till you die. You cannot censor him forever, trust me I tried and it was my mistake since the beginning. He is patient, once you're tired of fighting, he will manipulate you like a doll and make you think that you're taking/making decisions.

Accepting him makes of you a complete person: you're no longer split in two parts. You have your ideas, dreams and goals in life and he has none. When you live your life, he's a specatator with almost no direct power. This would be a frustrating situation for everyone and what do you do when you're in such position ? You turn to manipulation.

When you think of something, he will always suggest the "bad" part of human nature: violence, anger, envy ect...

You become complete when you take his suggestions into consideration and make a decision based of his and your suggestions: an agreement.

The only way to embrace your shadow is to take his personnality into yours and become one individual in one body.

A simple trick would be to imagine your body's shadow entering into you.

How do you know you embraced your shadow ?

So here I can only talk for myself.

I know I'm one when :

-There are no more other thoughts going around in my head because I control them all.

-I feel no fear, anxiety, depression, procastination.

-I'm focused.

-I feel my head in details: my lips, nose, ears.

-There are no other voices.

Conclusion

You have a shadow. It's there and you cannot denied/censor/ignore it forever. Fighting something inside you is unproductive and a waste of time. Do the opposite and accept it and make it part of you.

Becoming one gives you the ability to be yourself. Your true self. You accept your bad parts, your inner demon. Embracing your shadow allows you to find peace in you.

It is something society refuses to see and accept: the evil side of ourselves. Because everyone must be politically correct and do "good".
