So, I posted yesterday about a girl who it seemed we had some connection with but ended up flaking on a meeting. She only has a facebook and actually messaged me first after accepting a friend request. Minor. I was reading Girlschase and Blackdragon before this and all their text game advice is on point with RP philosophy. But I focused on one without taking the rest into consideration. Scenario now.

Her: EmperorMango! What's up? :)

I felt pretty proud about the little interaction we had before this when I read it, I must be on the positive side of things if she even accepted at all, much less go out of her way to message. Like I said though, I focused too hard on not putting more into a message than her....so I gave a shit response.

"HB! Hey, not much, enjoying my day off."

So yeah, little failure, not much to build off of. It kinda stops any momentum on her end. I had a great plan laid on on how I would invite her to breakfast tomorrow by crashing a neighboring schools free breakfast. Out of the blue and out of the ordinary, I thought it would appeal to the bored psyche in her. She hasn't responded yet and I wouldn't really care that much if it wasn't time-sensitive, but if by some miracle she does in time, I'll remember to take everything in context. Just like every RP tip, advice and idea.

Either way, little lesson for newbs from a newb. Take all tips in moderation, and have them work together.
