I think there's been a lot of core tenets of TRP that are missed amongst the conflicts with other boards, and the comments section contains often misconstrued notions based on things that have been said. So I thought I'd share a bit.

1. Everybody manipulates in sexual strategy.

Women wear makeup to entice a man.

Men wear a frame to entice a woman.

There's no difference.

Everything you do in an interaction with a woman is to make her want you. What she wants is a dominant, attractive male that will "sweep her off her feet". You can do this through communication, and everything you say and do, and how you say and do it will shape her view of you. This is why you only do things that shape you as dominant and attractive.

This is manipulation, "showing your good side", "highlighting your good points", and it's not just men that do it, women do it aswell.

Let's start with what men primally want. A beautiful woman.

Unlike men, women have a harder time manipulating someone into thinking they are beautiful, but through clothing choice, makeup, hairstyle, etc, they try their hardest to masquerade as beautiful women no matter how beautiful they were before.

There is nothing wrong with manipulation. Manipulation is god damn everywhere, and manipulating yourself to get into someones pants is not immoral. Women do it every time.

You can always leave if you don't get what you want. I've seen this spun as coercion, and I've been told this is manipulation, but if you aren't getting laid in a relationship, you don't have to be there, no matter what that labels you as. Get your spouse to have sex with you or find it elsewhere.

2. There is nothing wrong with sexism.

sex·ism
/ˈsekˌsizəm/ Noun Prejudice, stereotyping, or discrimination, typically against women, on the basis of sex.

I'm not saying go nuts with the kitchen jokes, but sexism is also something everyone does. Are you a man? Would you have sex with a man?

You are disciminating against men if you said yes.

Men and women are different, and there's nothing wrong with either men or women. But the way people are wired changes behavour very drastically. Most of the terms we use here at TRP can be incredibly crass towards women, but they are shortenings for things that are more brutally truthful and not well understood by the majority of people. You get people crying "SEXIST", but the fact that it's sexist isn't the problem, the fact that it can be offensive is.

We discriminate against women and men all the time. We have prejudices, and we stereotype. If you don't you're a liar. You want to do things to women you would never do to men, so you're a sexist. Men and women are different, so comparing between them is natural.

What this whole article is leading up to is that words like sexism and manipulation have changed to have horribly negative stigmas over the last 30 to 40 years, when they are perfectly innocent acts, and principles that have been used to keep the human race alive for the whole of documented history.

Now if you manipulate/be sexist and admit it in today's society, you get looks from people like you just killed and ate their cat. Sexism can be offensive, but not everything to do with sexism is offensive. Manipulation can be date rape, but not all manipulation is dirty.

People have taken the words out of context and given them negative connotations.
