For the past few months I've been taking red pill advice and working on myself, reading, lifting, finding hobbies, and stepping out of my comfort zone. But through reflection I've come to realize that most days it's a total coin toss how I'm feeling, I could feel on top of the world one day, and like a total loser the next, and attempt to fake that same confidence. But the truth is I was a fucking loser every day because that confidence didn't come from me, it was dependant on how my morning went, or how people treated me, and wasn't truly authentic at all.

Well today I think I've figured out the one thing holding me back from being my best self every day, my morning routine. You may think what you do or when you wake up is insignificant as long as youre ready to leave on time, but this isn't true. I watched a video by Charisma on Command a few days ago, on morning routines and their part in a successful day, so I thought fuck it may as well give it a shot. I woke up early enough that I had time to read, meditate and get my mind right, enjoy some music and make a nice breakfast, look great and not have to rush or stress about anything.

The effect on my mood and behavior today was insane. I felt completely calm and collected all day, despite the increased amount of shit people tossed my way to test my frame, as I'm sure they could tell something was different. I made direct eye contact with people that I might previously be nervous to do so with, I didn't think twice about most of the things I said, making jokes and comments I previously would have second guessed, and the negative reaction I might have expected was just not there. I could go on but I think by now you understand, in short today was a huge victory for me because I was able to be all the things that I strive to be without faking it.

The takeaway from this is that having a good morning routine can make a huge difference on the rest of your day, and that all that shit about faking it till you make it is pretty true, because if you fake confidence long enough you'll eventually realize what's actually holding you back, and once you overcome that obstacle you can harness that true inner confidence that nobody can touch, and that actually attracts people.

And yes, I will be writing this in my diary, because I know one of you is going to comment something like that.
