I’ll try to keep this as brief as possible, but I (21 M) was dumped by my LTR of nearly 2 years (21 F) in August of this year. I should also note she was the first person I slept with. I didn’t shed a single tear because I was exhausting from studying 60 hours a week for a test that would determine my career, my best friend (21 M) passed away unexpectedly, and she was draining me. Towards the end I found out she most likely cheated on me with an obese man for a line of cocaine. Needless to say, I was burnt out and over it. She called me a “sociopath” for maintaining my frame and keeping my cool when she was screaming all sorts of insults under the sun at me during the breakup.

Anyways, I find TRP about a month later (September) and start reading the sidebar and asktrp. In October I had my first success after my LTR dumped me. I should also mention that I don’t settle for anything below a 7. One of my roommate’s gf’s friends (21 F) visited and I had my first success outside of a relationship. Even though it wasn’t a plate since she lived very far away, I was still happy.

From October to February, I was focusing on myself, academics, and was able to get into a doctoral program. Afterwards, I tried my hand at tinder and met up with someone else (20 F). I was able to sleep with her after the second date and tried to spin her as a plate, but she was obnoxious. She was depressed, slept the whole date besides when we fucked, and would only reply with 1-2 word answers no matter what. She is also still the most unenthusiastic person I have slept with. In March, I was able able to get 2 ONS throughout the month, which I thought I never could.

And that brings us to now: I’ve had 3 plates this month (21F, 21F, and 22F) from various online dating apps.

I wanted to share this story because one of my 21F plates was messaging me while she was out to dinner with another guy. She straight up told me “this guy is not masculine at all” and “I wish you were breaking my back rn and I wasn’t here”. And that’s when it all clicked… That’s when I realized why I was so unsuccessful prior to my LTR. I was a blue pill bitch.

It’s finally all made sense and I’m going to continue becoming a better man every single day who is more in touch with himself.
