If women can get away with it, even the best ones will use you for your money IF YOU ALLOW IT. In that case, it really becomes your fault, because you allowed it. In the past, I've been guilty of this with cute, foreign girls, thinking they were different than Americans. They aren't. Don't allow it.

Particularly true with foreign girls. And I mean foreign cultures to your own. Some girls in Asia will expect the man to pay, however the ones experienced in riding the Caucasian CC will know the deal of going Dutch.
I have made the mistake of associating low Caucasian N count with being traditional, and giving leeway. But really it's AWALT everywhere. They will take whatever they can get.

An interesting side note about this - I just started making a six figure income. I'm 28. Everyone talks about reaching this bench mark like it's the definition of success. Idk how many times I've heard "we gotta chase money man, then the girls will chase you!" As if a parade of girls would now come sniff me out and start fighting over me, and there would be a queue outside my apartment door every day of girls wanting me to take them to fancy dinners.
None of that happens.
Even with girls I've been out with who ask what I do, I simply say "I'm in IT" and they just follow up with "oh nice, I suck at math" and continue on about themselves. There's an important part of having money I think gets forgotten; it's that money by itself won't get her wet/turn her on at all. It's only in combination with looks, status, social proof, and/or game that it really starts to work for you:
Long story short follow OP's advice but do it for yourself - don't think being financially stable is a panty dropper. Maybe in the stupid amounts of money (millions) category it starts to drop panties, but I suspect that the celebrity/social status that comes with it plays a larger role in that too. We all still need to lift, take showers in the morning, and learn game.
Well I wasn't really talking about making big money much like you state. I am talking about knowing what you can afford and what not, be wise with your finances and make sure you have always savings and money left before you get your salary so your savings account can grow for the harder times.
The thing that I talk about women is that those too suck to handle money correctly and live from paycheck to paycheck, and this eventually starts to suck. If you don't want to have a golddigger, or want to have a girl you can have good times with, get one that has never uttered the words "I need to wait for my paycheck" unless you intend to spend hundreds of bucks on something.
