I thought you were taking issue with the religious aspect. Some RPers to tend bristle at any mention of religion and end up derailing threads. My mistake.

Why not involve politics? The left in the United States is generally behind efforts which incentivize single motherhood, or prioritize college aid for women at the expense of men. Obviously when he says "evil incarnate" he's hyperbolizing in the same style as a women's magazine, but it couldn't be clearer that politics and public policy have a role in shaping the social environment and the relationship between the sexes.
