I'm a beginner at this game & haven't even played that much, but here's sth that I believe might be interesting/helpful. If it's not, then I should mention that feedback is welcome.

I unexpectedly met a HB8 I already knew from before on whom I didn't hit on. I decided it would be a good idea to practise this time. We talked for a bit & I was okay. Then she went to talk with someone else. After she left, I was thinking to myself that I should flirt & show my intentions by escalating things. I didn't come up with anything & stopped thinking about it. The second time we started talking I felt a bit of anxiety & nervousness. It may have been because I just learned that she was with a bf. So I might have subconsciously chickened out a bit. There were other people there who invited us all for some drinks. We went to a nearby cafe. At the table my confidence completely faded away, I became shy & for the rest of the evening stayed mostly silent.

From this I learned that how I imagine I play is the opposite of how I actually do it. In game I say no witty snide remarks, no cool stuff that would be applauded & adored by a crowd in a rap battle. Nothing like that. It made me realise that I need a lot of training in order to get up there, so that I could call myself a true red piller.

A bit later I thought about it & cane up with sth. I decided that when a potential set has a bf I can say sth like: "so do you always pick second-rate men whom you'll toy around with for max 2yrs & dispose off like weekly rubbish you take out?"

Then if the situation is still fitting I could add: "that was an insult to both of you, which means you have got a long way to go up, but the fact that I'm still here talking with you means that I see some potential in you & that if you'd put in the effort I'd give you a chance". I think sth like this might inspire he to work to get you herself.

What do you think ? Am I in the right direction, not straying away from the red path ?
