This post needs to be removed as there is nothing red pill about anything you did. Being red pill means being stoic to tough guys who stare you down. You played into his frame by fighting him and you let your ego get the better of you.

I don't even know where to start with this one. This fight is not red pill at all. An alpha wouldn't waste the energy on street trash. Also ignoring issues with your girl is inherently blue pill; red pill addresses the issues and fixes them.

Instigating unnecessary fights is poor form, and likely to get you a front-row ticket to the inside of a casket.

That said, standing up for yourself against an aggressor is vital. Words can't solve all problems, despite what hippie feminists tell you. Some bullies only respond to violence. You assert your social rank by standing up for yourself, as you presumably did.

Most martial arts instructors tell you to attempt to diffuse any situation before it escalates, which is good advice. That said, there comes a point where you need to make a snap decision that diffusion won't work, and immediately counter with an offensive. It sounds like you did something like this.
