Dude, you set up an ice cream date and got some before she even arrived. How did you think this was going to go?

It's important not to be a walkover but you have to take into consideration basic mannerisms which indicate you are a normal and socially aware member of society (at the beginning, at least).

Good for you for walking out though.

I wouldn't have gotten my food before she arrived. You should have ordered together because it's awkward for you to just be eating ice cream before she shows, then she stands in line while you're still eating. Do you eat your dinner before everyone else at the table is served?

Also that "interview" line kind of sounds dickheadish. The fact that you view her asking questions about you as "interrogation" and getting your food before your date showed up suggests to me that you're not really socially with it. Yeah she could have been a lame date and the conversation might have sucked, but it's no reason to treat your date like garbage. It's not like she was using you for a free meal or something. She took time out of her day to meet up with you, paid for her own food etc.. You should have some respect for that.

If the date sucked that bad, you could have just cut it short and said to her "It was nice chatting with you but I have to run" and carry on with your day. It doesn't take that long to finish an ice cream cone. That's the magic of coffee, ice cream dates, drinks etc.. You can cut it short and come up with an excuse if you wanna GTFO. The only time you should ever walk out on a chick in the manner you did is when she's acting like a rude bitch who clearly doesn't value your company.

Seriously, fuck this idea that treating a lame date like shit is "alpha" and if you punish her she'll learn. Most likely, she'll just think you're some asshole (not in a fuck-able way) loser and forget about you an hour later. Get over your ego you're probably nothing special and she sensed that.
