there are two people i know that sell drugs. one of them, chris, gets with lots of women (100+ bodies) and sells cocaine. he makes lots of money. the other, max, sells weed, is equally as good looking, and has 1 body. he also is bad at talking with women in general.

so max recently got arrested, and while he was in jail, Chris (his friend) supposedly stole some money from him. max gathered lots of evidence (photos of bills, serial numbers, locations during his time in jail) and brought everyone he knew (including myself, and several friends) to confront chris for his crime.

several of us were friends with Chris, and he had so far denied taking any money.

as soon as max confronted Chris in person, the difference in their frame was strikingly obvious. Max broke eye contact, stuttered, was nervous. Chris avoided a lot of max's accusations, but eventually the argument (with all of us watchin them) got down to max repeating his evidence and chris saying "and if i did, what are you gonna do about it?". It was obvious to all of us that chris probably stole the money, but he stood on business. Max sat in a chair, slouched over and avoiding eye contact. Chris stared him dead in the eyes, had his chest open, and was not afraid to raise his voice. Both dealers knew they couldn't get the cops involved, so the matter was entirely physical. At some point, chris pulled a knife out of the drawer and offered it to max, who said "i won't resort to violence

It was sort of Chris' way of saying "im so far ahead of you, and i know you won't do shit". in the end we all left after Chris basically admitted to stealing it, and we all knew nobody could do anything about it.

The argument they had was so incredibly one sided. Chris managed the flow and direction, raising his voice far above max's and teasing him left and right (though he was clearly wrong). I can't help but question, what caused this difference between them? CHRIS was raised in a poor family, and sold drugs when he was a teenager. MAX on the other hand had a rich family, and never had to have a physical encounter at all.

the only person who did stand up to chris was my best friend, who had a rough family life and was beat up by bullies during his teenage years. He raised his voice and called chris out, unafraid of chris' "aura".

Aside from obviously showing a lack of emotion, and holding your physical ground, how can you develop the MENTAL to be a man with a stronger frame? Does one need to go get beat up to develop the gall to stand up against men with better frames than them? How can you train this? I was also raised in a well-off family, and never got into fights myself, so i have been sort of a people-pleaser most of my life. HOW TO FIX THIS?
