A small bit of advice here. Don't tell her you are watching football. This might seem to her as you are "wasting" your day, another male loser with a sports addiction and jersey (not saying I agree; I watch sports aplenty).

You should have just said, "Sorry, made plans already. Maybe another time." Now she doesn't have the details needed to make a conclusion about you. Are you with another woman?? Competition, they dread it. Are you doing some really fun? Dammit, she missed out; should have taken you up on your offer when the opportunity presented itself.

Either way, you give her hamster time to spin and conclude she made the mistake.

If you give her the impression you are sitting around all day watching football, she might just pigeon hole you with all the other bros and think "whew, I thought he might be different but was wrong. Bullet dodged."

Then, of course, after you a bang a chick like this a few times, absolutely be clear that it's football day, not going to the flea market or brunch or other female bs.

One thing I can say is that you could've framed you invitation in a different way. You ask her if she "wanted to do something." You could've been more assertive and decisive by saying something like "Let's go do this or that on Sunday." Women can be fickle about things like that. Its seem like the way she invited you to the movies is a projection of how she would've liked you to do it. Imagine you saying, "I'm going to watch a movie and you will join me." It's a little bold but it sounds more exciting for her than asking her is she wants to go. What it all comes down to is that since the beginning you set yourself into a position of being the chaser. No wonder she felt entitled to you dropping your plans at her own convenience. You gave her that entitlement.

Another way to look at it is by applying the concept of "assuming the sale." She wants you to assume the sale. If she senses that you haven't, she will see it as you being doubtful about yourself. If in your mind you would've assumed the sale, your thought process would've been something like: " I'm sure she would want to go out. Why wouldn't she? She is going to have a good time." Once you start thinking like that, its all about setting a date which is only going to be affected by her schedule or yours.

She's just pissed because instead of sitting by the phone waiting for pussy you went and planned something else and aren't willing to at the drop of a hat come running. Or perhaps because you asked her out she thought that spot would still be available 5-6 days later. Either way HUGE DHV there by not dropping your plans for her. I assume you had a few buddies come over to watch it with ya?
