Sup guys? I've adopted TRP way of thinking since around October of last year, thanks to Patrice O'Neal, (God rest his soul), and it's saved my life.
Today I've come to a realization about a bad habit that I've had for years of being BP-er. For as long as I can remember, I've lived with wants. Wanting fun, wanting women, wanting freedom, etc.. But I can see now that a man's life is not one of wants, but one of CAN's and CANNOT's. For the first time, I've accepted what I can and cannot do, and it's relieving. I can be completely honest with what I am.
Which led me to this thought: For the first time in my life, I've taken a metaphorical punch in the face, and it didn't hurt. IT DIDN'T HURT, and I didn't go to a girl to lick my wounds. This is major for me. It let me know that I'll be alright.
Edit: A word
