I was not the OP, but I saw the top comment was a suggestion to post in relationshit_advice to see what the hamsters and whiteknights would say. Sadly, the results are not surprising. Any piece of half-way good advice was downvoted. Anything that was aligned with the feminist agenda was upvoted.

Your entire post, and that line particularly, reeks of entitlement. It doesn't matter how good you are to her. It doesn't matter how nice you are. It doesn't matter how much it hurts you to see her do what she's doing. It doesn't matter how shitty the other guy is. It doesn't matter how much you think she'd be better off with you than him.

She makes her own decisions. She isn't accountable to you. You respect her decisions or you don't. If you don't, find someone else to be infatuated with.

The advice isn't THAT different from what you'd see here. Everyone is telling him to move on, work on self-improvement.

They even included a bit about AFBB, although it was worded a lot more politically correctly than it would be here and painted in a neutral, rather than negative, light.
