My comments:

1) You, like most women, are too sensitive to what people say. That someone makes a comment about your looks is not a valid excuse for your or any other women's under performance relative to men. It is just whining. (BTW, those rude compliments you receive about your looks are crazy. At best you might be a 6. At best.)

2) The reason there are less women in stem both on youtube and in general is because of innate biological differences. X linked intelligence causes men to have higher variance in IQ, such that there are more men at the right of the curve (thus more men are predisposed to be good at tasks with a high cognitive load). In addition, testosterone (most importantly fetal testosterone) alters brain development in men which favors systematizing reasoning , visiospacial skills, numerical reasoning, and technical ability. Combined with x linked induced variance, and you have a huge biologically innate disparity favoring men as a population in science compare to the female population. There is also the point that brain size in men is a bit bigger on average which promotes a slight rightward shift in IQ relative to the female population.

3) That being said, it doesn't mean that women who so desire it can't contribute or work in science. There are women out there who are smart enough to do science and do it well. However, because of biological differences there will never, ever be parity between the sexes in science. Men will always outnumber women by a large margin simply because they are biologically predisposed to it. Discrimination is not a reason, hurtful comments are a bad, bad excuse. These public initiatives pushing women into stem are a complete waste of taxpayer money because women as a population aren't innately inclined towards technical fields.
