There's a problem I see in a lot of my friends who are married or in long term relationships. They absolutely won't disagree with their spouses regardless, even it's it's retarded or the chick isn't being serious.
I've become particularly aware of a nuance of female speech recently, where she's basically thinking aloud. I'll call this Hamster-Speak, as it seems to be what's going through her head as she is performing mental gymnastics. They're not really being assertive in what they're saying, its just the first thing that pops into their head. It's smalltalk, they're not actually trying to convey information as men generally are when they talk.
The common misconception here is her partner thinking that he's receiving a complete thought from the women. This is fine when he is fulfilling his role as the man in the relationship, and willing to tell her that what she said is pointless or wrong. This is what she wants. She wants her thoughts to be either affirmed or denied based on how it matches her partner's, provided hes a strong willed confident male. It helps bring her into reality.
However, when you combine this with a man who cannot say no, the results are disastrous. While as men we vett our thoughts and use logic to determine their validity, females are more reliant on external validation. So when every single thought that runs through her head is met with a "Yes dear" or "That's a good point" regardless of its actual validity, she slips into delusion. This inevitably leads to a balancing act between how ridiculous she can be and how much her partner is willing to take for pussy, or the prospect thereof.
She says "We need a new couch" just as a passing thought, and her cuckboy husband, believing this to be an actual statement, goes "You know what, you're right." A thousand bucks later, and they have a nice new couch they didn't need. You get the idea.
An example of Hamster-Speak in a completely different context was a few nights ago at a gathering I attended. My good friend was the host, and I'm a very social and networked person, whereas the other attendees were less outgoing people with a tight circle of friends. As a result, a couple of the chicks there were very clearly interested in me.
Talking to one in particular, a cute 7, I said something along the lines of "I hate it here" (California) and wanting to move away. She replied with "Oh yeah, I've always wanted to move to the city" (Very obviously talking about San Francisco) and started gushing about the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay and such. I responded to this by saying "Nah, I want to get way far away, like the east coast or something." You know what she said to that? "Oh yeah me too, I hate California."
~Record-scratch~
I sat there dumbfounded, trying to think of a way to respond. Not a minute ago she was telling me she wanted to move to SF, and suddenly she hates California and wants to move far away just like me. So that's what I asked her, "Didn't you just say you wanted to move to the city?". She stammered for a second "O-oh, I meant like any big city, not San Francisco" and she then said some more BS.
I considered pressing the issue further, as there's very clearly no fucking Golden Gate Bridge in Houston or Chicago, but remembering that this was a potential lay instead of a debate with some autist I opted to instead just laugh and escalate instead. A good choice, might I add.
So in closing, learn to differentiate between when a chick is actually being serious and when she's just checked out and saying whatever pops into her head. Far more often than not, its the latter.
