I agree. We all know that women hamster, lets not let TRP become "examples of hamstering".

Also, I feel like a lot of the posts I've seen weren't even correct examples of hamstering.

I find the whole hampstering metaphor to be labored as well to be honest. Generally a metaphor is used to communicate an idea effectively. It shouldn't ever make communicating the idea more convoluted. It also makes us look like morons going on and on about 'hampster this hampster that'.

+1, my thought process when reading them:

1 - WTF? This guy/woman is an idiot/beta/bitch 2 - At least this isn't happening to me

Personally I prefer the positive side (improvement based posts) but can understand why people post the hamster examples.

Keep in mind, we get something like 2,000 new subs a month. you may have seen a lot and be tired of it, but new guys come here all the time, who haven't seen what you've seen.

I kind of disagree. I felt this way a couple of days ago regarding Bluepill examples, but I think that occasionally there'll be days where it seems like there's nothing but posts regarding (x) and there will be new guys coming on and posting examples that they only now realise conform to some of the categories in TRP. Personally I'm not posting anything yet, because I'm fairly new, and I want to immerse myself in all the different facets before I try to add to the community.

ninja edit: also the more examples that are available to new guys, such as myself, the better able we'll be to recognize it in our own interactions.

The flair on the left of each and every post is supposed to give the reader a little heads up about what they are about to read along with the title. Don't like bluepill examples -- don't fucking read them. I like them, because they give me a good rage which is what I need every now and then when I start to doubt TRP philosophy's validity. Skip past the posts you don't like, visit /r/asktrp and help out the newcomers, go visit other similar subs if new content is getting slow. But as far as getting rid of these types of posts because one fucking guy decides its akin to "circlejerking" -- fuck all that. Some of us need it, pal. Don't be a dick -- just skip 'em.

Then why the fuck is "blue pill example" a built in flair? I love reading these hamstering examples pulled from other subreddits populated by beta faggots and whales
