Every man in that movie murders for a woman. The strongest alphas of the city do it all for women. Marc was a monster, chic takes his virginity and he goes on a killing spree to avenge her murder. Clive Owen murders for the love and respect of whores. Bruce for a sweet little girl who grows up to become a stripper. The sin is being a white knight. Still it's an enjoyable flick from a film/comic book lovers point of view. But I am aware.

It follows the classic film noir formula which is men being led astray and into ruin by women.

Its more a morality tale / warning than anything else

I've seen it, and my impression was that the guys in it are extremely RP, except maybe John Hartigan (Bruce Willis) who puts Nancy on a pedestal. Great movie.

I never watched it on purpose, no. But from what I've heard and what little I've seen... it's disgusting. And why in the holy hell are you asking this here?
