This method is a basic tactic to push the timid towards big goals. For those who are newer to cold approaching and assuming rapport style approaching this is a solid place to start that is for the purpose of building confidence, and expanding on your progression.

Every day cold approach one or even a group of woman you are attracted to every day. Your day cannot end until you do. You can do this at the Gym, mall, convenience store, coffee shop, the street-anywhere except work. This is especially helpful when trying to break into an arena never explored before. Force yourself to do this regularly and you will progress fast in your social ability, and consistently shed your approach anxiety.

Pick a lady, use your intuition and observation of IOI's to decide if she's open to approaching-don't make it complicated. When I approach I don't worry about numbers, I don't worry about closing, and as long as I have a question-I don't worry about the impact of what I have to say. The point is to test the waters, and get you learning with every experience. This method revolves around using a question, ANY mindless question to break the ice. If you have a good question, you'll not only get great mileage out of that conversation, but you can afford to time your approach accordingly. From there you can adjust the conversation according to the reception of the woman you are talking to. You should communicate clearly, concisely, connecting through eye contact, while saying something that is not offensive.

Some women suck and ignore you, but generally you'll be surprised how open women actually are. If she shuts it down, you tried-you're done. You've done your duty for the day. If the conversation evolves-keep going and see where you can lead it, if it stays on topic and you sense that is time to end it-say "well, it was great talking to you [ask their name/introduce yourself]" and go about your day. That's it, job finished. Does it matter if you get a number at all? Absolutely not. Most of the time you feel better just going through with it. You have addressed the uncertainty and know for sure. You can move on with your life, with an improved confidence. This confidence is the foundation to the next steps the rest of this community is prioritizing-so start here if you feel overwhelmed.
