Throughout the ages men have had honor codes, the samurai's bushido, the knight's chivalric code, Ben Franklin's 13 virtues, these morals have made these men better themselves exponentially, so I find it beneficial for any RP man to write out his moral tenets, whether they be machiavellian or benevolent in nature, if you want self improvement you must start inwards. Here is a look at my Honor Code.

  1. Courage: To overcome all obstacles and fears.

  2. Honesty: To be be truthful to yourself firstly, then to be truthful to others who are also virtuous.

  3. Self Respect: To never lower your standards.

  4. Humility: To look at ones accomplishments and defeats objectively and to realize I am not so great that I cannot also fall.

  5. Politeness: To show common courtesy, to all. (even to enemies)

  6. Accountability: To be dependable and owe up to your own mistakes.

  7. Logic: To use your mind critically to judge the right answer.

  8. Ambition: Always seeking to improve oneself.

  9. Determination: To work for something full force.

  10. Focus: Taking extra care to succeed.

  11. Conviction: Holding to and believing in a higher ideal than oneself.

  12. Fortitude: Being physical and mentally tough.

  13. Loyalty: No back stabbing, no gossip.

  14. Temperance: To abstain or limit vices.

  15. Justice: To give someone their fair due.

  16. Assertiveness: Willing to fight at anytime to defend yourself and others/ accept any challenge.

  17. Adaptability: able to leave or stay by any means, in any situation.

  18. Stoicism: Not letting emotion rule your physical body or mental states.

  19. Industry: Knowing that one day you will die, and to try to accomplish as much as I possibly can.

  20. Love: To hate what is evil, and revel in what is good.
