I see posts on here where men ideally want a virgin, and call women who sleep around sluts. But on other threads men complain that the woman they are dating isn't putting out, and dump them. So which is it? This is totally contradictory. Do you prefer it if women hold out or put out?

This post is to let you know that if you prefer women to be pure and virgin, your behavior is actually discouraging it. If men pressure women to have sex early, and women think they are going to lose the guy if she doesn't have sex with him .. guess what is going to happen? There are going to be less virgins around because women are being encouraged into not waiting, because they think that's what guys WANT. Isn't this working against you?

And then you complain that women are no longer pure anymore? Why do you think that is? Obviously the media and sexual liberation contributed it, but guys dumping women for not putting out contributes to it too.

As a woman who is actually a virgin, I am getting completely mixed messages. On the one hand, if I hold out for the right man, men aren't interested because they don't want to date someone who isn't going to have sex right away. But on the other hand, if I stop holding out, men aren't interested because I am a "slut" and not a virgin. Do you see how ridiculous this is? It's a catch-22. It's a lose either way.

Someone explain this to me because I really don't get it.
