  1. Why are you around her? She's not your fucking friend. The best choice is to cut her out completely.

  2. If for some reason you must be around her, see 1: she's not your friend. You need to understand that whatever it is she's doing, it's calculated to win validation and attention from you. Don't allow that. That's keeping frame. You treat her the way you would any slight acquaintance. A short greeting, then you're off with your bros or having fun with a plate.

  3. If this isn't social, it's work or something, you're strictly business. No emotional response to her from you. None. Not a smile, not a long glance, nothing that tells her I remember we dated.

no she's not the ex, she's a girl I've been hooking up with, I was just wondering about when we're hanging out (usually leading up to sex) and sometimes we run into an ex of her's

The onus is still on you. You maintain frame by projecting confidence and masculinity. Those traits come from doing shit that creates them within you. Start training and eating right. Improve your social skills. Stop giving a fuck about what her ex thinks and pursue what you want like a fucking torpedo. You need to internalize the idea that the ex should be made uncomfortable and intimidated seeing her with you. Then become the man who has that effect on lesser men.
