How to strengthen your frame.

Summary: In this post my aim is to expound upon where good frame comes from and dispel some of the "elusiveness" of frame. From that the conclusion will be how you can start strengthening your frame.

Body:

/u/LegendaryPeace wrote a post titled 'Social Anxiety and "Weak Frame" Are The Same Thing.' The information in that post is helpful accurate to a degree, but it is my position that talking about frame only in it's social application is a hindrance to true personal growth and strengthening your frame.

Where does frame arrive from?

PUA material provides a good set of tools, but ultimately it means that the frame you present is a facade and prone to failure early and often, and while fake it til' you make it is a valid tactic it defies one of the core philosophies of Red Pill, creating value in yourself. Firstly, we need to take a look at what frame is not. The antithesis of frame is uncertainty. If you are uncertain about yourself you will become easily supplicated by a strong will. If you are uncertain about what you say, if you are uncertain about your beliefs, and if you are uncertain about your value, you will be discredited, taken advantage of, and walked on. On the other side of the coin congruency and certainty go hand in hand. If you know who you are, what your about and why you are about it you become congruent from the inside out. This gives you a solid frame in every aspect of your life, not just during social interaction.

How do I become certain of myself?

This is a great question to try and answer for each person. This forum has strongly talked about morals and what they mean to the Red Pill. You need to know what your values are, and what your morality is. If you cannot pin that down you cannot be certain of it. In short to become certain you must start by being brutally honest with yourself, and find the grey areas within your self. Make a decision on each and every one of those areas. Sometimes the decision is "I don't give a fuck either way" which is perfectly acceptable as long as you plan for both outcomes. Many times not giving a fuck is cited as good frame, and to start out it is. However, it's also misleading; if you don't give a fuck about anything you run the risk of marginalizing yourself and saying that opinion does not matter which is patently false; our opinions make up who we are. Suspend your religion or lack thereof and let us look at the apostle Paul. Paul had magnificent frame, but it would be misguided at the least to say he didn't give a fuck. Paul knew what he believed in was right. There were no other right answers for Paul, and there was no other reason to pander to any other values or beliefs. When you are sure of yourself you do not have to pander to others; they must earn the right to have you consider their point of view and estimate it's congruency to your own.

Since your frame is dependent on your own personal morals and your own personal beliefs it means that no two frames are the same. There are as many frames of reference as there are people. I urge you to take everything in this sub with a grain of salt. Take only the tools that are congruent with your frame. It's easy to fall into the trap of saying that there is a right answer and a right way of doing things. The only right answers are the ones that get the results you desire.

Conclusion:

The best message that TRP can offer is that you are at the center of your desires and only you can actualize them. Look inside yourself and make the tough calls and decide who you want to be and what you want from life. View every avenue as a tool to move you in the right direction. Only take the tools that fit congruently with the other tools in your toolbox. The better you can align your wants and needs with your beliefs and morals the stronger your frame will be.
