Back before Solomon and ROK and the PUA/Manosphere knowledge that has been dropped like science on young pedawans us Old Schools had a certain classification system we found to effective.

We had the 10 scale sure, but before the Interwebs, it was much more subjective. One man's 6.5 was another man's 8. Also, the 10 scale was also often graded on a curve. The hottest chick in a room was always a 9 minimum, but could easily be dropped to a 7 in the right circumstances (hotter chicks enter the vicinity). Sometimes 7s were actually secret 9s. Sometimes 9s were actually 7s. Some women grade out higher with their clothes off. Some grade out better with their clothes on.

It was just so highly subjective, the 10 scale was often relegated to abstract descriptions that were often fictional in nature. Today it's different. Technology being what it is, standardization is actually possible.

Back in the day...? No so. We often went with a different system.

Our system graded chicks out on more than just looks. It was mainly looks, but we also included factors like coolness, sexual ability, fun factor, sophistication, humor and yes intelligence. Of course these contributing factors were rarely topics of discussion, but they were considered nonetheless.

A player had a ranking system.

His highest ranked girl was a girl he would take to special events like a wedding. If he wanted to go to a dressy affair or indulge in some fine dining, he would take out the #1 girl. This is the girl he wanted to show on his arm when it was necessary or bring around his family. Of course she had to be hot, but she also had to be classy and smart enough to comport herself in a manner that represented the player in the manner he wanted to be seen. Charisma, humor and intelligence were useful qualities in this ranking.

His middle ranked girl (or girls) were cute and fun, but not quite up to the standard of #1 girl. Would he bring #2 girl home to mom? No. But he can ask her out to a concert or maybe take a road trip with her. He could call her up after he scored a bag of krip, she'd cruise over and smoke out. Hell, this chick might even have her own weed. He felt confident that if he took this chick somewhere - maybe hit a club with this chick - or do whatever - he knew that she'd behave herself and assure him the pussy as a part of the deal. His bros might even say she's a "cool chick" and not care when she's occasionally around. The girl may or not have a hang up about about not having full time status, but is generally cool about things because she knows he's a bit out of her league and she's going to have a good time when he calls her up.

Low ranked girl is the player's down-low piece. Friends rarely know who she is. He calls her generally when the bar is closing or when he is at home alone and bored late at night. Girl type #3 is usually trashy and stupid. She's a cock carousel riding dipshit. People would give him the smh if they saw him with this girl out in public. When friends find he's banging her on occasion, they ridicule him. Hey back in the day, we didn't have internet porn. If we wanted to bust a good nut this girl offered a nice convenience factor. Lets face it.... This girl did some of the dirty, nasty things the other two didn't do. If you wanted a little more of a freakshow. This was the girl you called.

It wasn't unheard of for girls to move up or down a dude's ranking. After you get to know a girl, you get more of an accurate understanding of her quality.

Today's game is absolutely more calculated and complex. Social media present a HUGE block to a dude trying to run this kind of game. It makes juggling 2 or 3 at a time in this manner really difficult - as most women expect access to your FB if you're fucking - in any role. The Red Pill mindset is admittedly different. It seems you don't juggle multiples at once but rotate them in succession. They each get short windows before you pump and dump. Women today are also more calculating and selfish - and more treacherous. Gen X chicks were way more fun then these angry millennial feminists. Maybe I'm wrong. Progress? Who knows?
