The notion of a partner with whom to go hunting with dates back to the old PUA days. It came a bit after mass approaching like a telemarketer but before the theories on opening/approaching sets in crowded venues. In TRP, however, the notion is given no mention. This is partially due inner game and personal development, but also due to the abundance mentality where having to grab a partner to hunt for pussy reeks of try-hard desperation and oneitus.

This came to my attention at a recent gathering where I decided that, indeed, wingmen do have a place. It was at a family social function meeting my brother's girlfriend that I realized that in the framework of TRP, a hypothetical wingman acts as quality control.

In such an instance, my brother could not broach certain topics and doing it in a roundabout way would introduce an element of manipulativeness into a relationship. Good guy that he is needs a Jerkass Jew brother to slap his unicorn upside the head to see if the horn falls off. Haters going to hate, but if I'm the asshole that baited a social justice warrior into war then that leaves my bro with plausible deniability while nexting his unicorn.

I amog the group and bait a bystander into a discussion on politics. I get a nudge from the bro to not bring up topics that get people riled up. Bullshit, my job is not to make nice with a bunch of idiots I won't even see again for years and years. I need to see if I can bait a unicorn into revealing her true colors. But I tone it down and steer the topic from politics to values to family.

I ask the unicorn about her family and dig a little for red flags. Make some jokes about family and swap to friends and hobbies then swap to work and business and back to politics again. I play my Trump card, with a capital Donald. Still nothing. She gives some weak propaganda response but there's no fury behind it. I give up after a couple hours and let the conversation move naturally while I grab the food.

End result was failure. I'm a natural introvert and I am exhausted from entertaining a group of 6 while trying to bait people to find out if they are strong independent women who don't need no man. If she's crazy, she ain't showing it. If she's a social justice warrior, she managed to not fight.

Afterwards, he wants to know what's up. I explain that someone needed to test for symptoms of crazy and whore. I rated her a 9/10 for lack of crazy and lack of combativeness. (5/10 looks) His reply: Better you ask than me.

When women are scarce, the wingman exists to help the bro get with bitches. He presents the bro with the spotlight and makes him look good. This is because pedestal pussy is so worshipped that it is sufficient that multiple men coordinate time and resources to get women, even if one must "jump the grenade". (The wingman bones the landwhale so his bro can bag the hottie).

When women are abundant, the wingman exists to filter out the crazy whores. He amogs the bro and baits others with a jerkass routine and makes himself look the asshole - thereby ensuring that the assembly line is untainted. Because he can take it, because he's the hero Gotham deserves.

TDLR: The PUA wingman exists to present his bro in a good light so that he can score the golden poon. The TRP wingman lives in a world of abundance and checking for crazy and whore are foundations of quality control.
