There is a quick way to protect yourself in this situation. Calmly tell her that is great news, then tell her you read somewhere those tests can be inaccurate and you think she should take another one to make sure. Go with her to buy it and be there when she pees on it.

This is good advice...

Should be sufficient to just get some random one off the shelf and let her do her business in the bathroom... I don't think preggo women are selling their piss in bottles yet are they? In any case maybe get a medical doctor to run a test to confirm it. They're not supposed to lie about the results if you go as a couple.

Remember you need to be a manipulative prick and seem like you are on her side at the very least until you're sure pregnant and it's not fake. At which point you need to consider what option you want it to take. If she wants an abortion and you do then be supportive of that option until it happens. If she wants to keep it and you don't want a kid with her then at that point you disengage from the relationship and demand a paternity test when the child is born to ensure the child is yours.

No she buys a used pregnancy test... If she says 'I'm pregnant' you get another test and have her do another one right there. If she is pregnant you get a paternity test when the kid comes out before you accept any legal responsibility for the child.

I got this one popped being sold a miscarriage ~3mo into a relationship.
