Hey TRP. this is my first post here that will actually give some guidance to the newer redpillers based on what happened to me this weekend, and it is the basis of frame and confidence.
I hate myself.
you hear these words time after time by people who hate who they are, but are too lazy to fix it. the BP people of the world say this, usually with a laugh on their face to hide their true feelings. I used to say this.
but I saw somewhere a line that really stuck with me.
I... hate... MYSELF
who is I
and who is myself
isn't it the same person? the physical answer is yes. but the more important aspect, mentally, is no, they are not the same person. at least until you are an alpha man.
If you are someone who found the redpill after a hard breakup where you fell madly in love at a young age over a girl who cheated on you or broke your heart and moved on in less then a week, I want you to do something for me right now.
only do this if you have been hitting the gym for a few months but don't see yourself making progress. if you are fresh out the womb into redpill, save this and come back after some hard work in the gym.
now, go to the bathroom and take a look at yourself.
Not in the mirror. use your senses and physically look at your stomach and arms and the distance from your head to your feet.
That is you.
now take out your driver's license and look at your pudgy face. now put it next to you in the mirror and look how chiseled you look compared to before.
when you try and see progress through a mirror, your own thoughts (probably negative if you have confidence issues) will see what they believe to be the truth about your body. you won't see progress because you don't think your good enough or worth it. But you are. you've hit the gym for a few months now. that is already better then 80% of the population.
now think about it. I live in a town of about 8,000 people. decent sized town. usually meeting new faces and have 2 very close neighboring townes. but whenever I go to the gym, there's only maybe 20 people, tops. 20 people out of 8000. do the math, then tell me you're not worth it.
Here is what happened to me:
I'm 6'0, about 215 lbs down from 225. I've put in hard work at the gym, but unfortunately and disappointingly in myself, my diet has not been top notch, which is going to change as of today. not the point.
I went to a music festival today with my best friend. a true man who would take the shirt off my back for me, go to jail with me so I don't need to be alone (something minor obviously) and honestly, I believe he'd take a bullet for me. I would do the same.
All my life I've always felt beneath people. even being at 6'0, I could never see over people. until this weekend.
I went to the Porter potties at the venue, and looked down. Took some deep breaths, and literally watched my pudgy body become chiseled and shrunk and became tight. It was scary, I hated myself, but now look at me. I'm fucking hot.
when I went to walk out of the bathroom. I tripped and stumbled forward a bit. what the hell? I'm tall. I looked down at my feet, and the floor literally zoomed away from me. In my own eyes, I became a giant. my legs started to cramp and I tried to stretch, but I couldn't feel the stretching. This was my mind trying to pull me back to my unconfident ways. this was the myself that I hated trying to hold me back. Fuck. That. Guy.
I walked with a limp a bit, trying to baby my cramp. then I stopped. I stopped fighting the cramp and I rolled with it. I looked up, and I am instantly above everyone. what the fuck? why is everyone so short? why am I above everyone? this is fucking dope.
I make my way back to my friend and tell him, and he literally says It looks like I aged 5 years. the way I walk has more confidence. Before, i used to tell myself "I hope no one is looking at me and laughing at my fat because my shirts off" Now, I walk with my head held high, asking people, no begging, to look at me and to be jealous of who I am.
and the attention I got from girls after that. Oh. My. God. I found a girl I was relatively fond of, but in the end didn't sleep with her (I will be posting a thread in asktrp to try and get some advice on where I went wrong). But girls would walk by me and touch my abs or arms just to feel my muscles. Attractive girls. 7s or higher. How am I getting their attention? by being myself.
I hated myself. but now. now I love myself.
from that point on, any song I heard was about me. Just an example off the top of my head, The Chainsmokers - I need ya right now.
before this worldly epiphany, I always had the image of some girl or thought about someone OTHER then MYSELF that I needed. not anymore. I need myself, because I love who I am.
So to those who are having trouble grasping this concept, try not looking at "I" and "myself" as 1 person, but try and seeing it as 2 separate beings living in 2 different worlds.
"I" is the world you live in. in your mind. your private thoughts that no one can see.
"Myself" is the world in which other people see you. the physical sense. the judgmental feelings toward you.
I needs to love myself, because if you can't even love yourself, who will?
TL;DR. fuck you and read it
