As long as you can handle the heat... The boys would love it. The girls probably wouldn't care. But moms would soon want your head on a pike once word got out. And then the shitstorm descends upon you from feminist gender police... Hell you could build all that action into the game, too.

Somebody showed me this indie computer RPG which the creators prided themselves on being feminist and gender-progressive.

It involved a bossy amazon warrior princess independent female as the lead non-player character of the story, and the player got to be her beta white knight bare-torso hunky slave who tags along in HER adventures. If he plays his conversation cards just right, there are romance scenes to be uncovered! (and if that doesn't work out, there's the token gay elf character with sad emo eyes, who hits on the player, for that "alternative" and progressive plot twist)

Never seen a setting so abhorrently ridiculous, contrived yet hilarious and true to life all at once!

When I started lifting, I put all my 8-bit computers and Wii U and PS4 on auctions.

I have a new game. Game that has both raising my own stats AND women involved.

The difference between my game and your RPG is that my game stays with me when I leave the gym.

Playing on my console is just a fake achievement. When the power is gone and the TV is off, where is my success? What if the hard drive dies? In 5 up to 10 yrs, much of this electronic toys will be DEAD. Is it worth to spend time playing on them, unless you make money out of it?

My response was meant to be ironic.

Aside from that though, I think to each his own. Honestly if the guy genuinely enjoys doing this, then I don't see a problem. It's hard to write it off as a useless activity, because sometimes things that look useless on the surface have some hidden value to them.

Also, this guy was not talking about video games; he was talking about a tabletop RPG game, where he was the one creating the story for the other players. So if he ever decides to write fiction in the future, I'm sure the experience will really help.
