The single biggest testament to McGregor's confidence is how he ends his fights.

In Aldo vs McGregor we saw McGregor land the left to the jaw and Aldo drops. A split second later McGregor throws a few half hearted fists down as the ref rushes in to end the fight but McGregor already knew it was over. McGregor looked bored waiting for the ref to come in.

Throwing the fists was a formality and McGregor knew it. No need to be a unnecessarily savage or overreact because there is nothing at risk for McGregor by letting the fight play out.

Watch literally any other UFC fighter in the world close out a fight and you'll see punches being thrown with 200% effort with the victor trying to do as much damage as humanly possible in the event that the fight isn't called that they'd come out of that engagement with some damage done before continuing on.

McGregor is the only fighter that doesn't do this.

It's like McGregor steps into the ring to see if his opponent has risen to the occasion. McGregor's done his research prior to the fight and knows 100% that he will beat the man he's studied. The only variable McGregor is interested in is whether or not his opponent has improved as a fighter while preparing for the fight. McGregor realizes his opponent has not in the opening few seconds and from there on out McGregor is just using the remaining time of the fight to show the rest of the world what he already knows; he's won.

McGregor is the epitome of self-confidence and hard labour. Went from signing onto the dole to possibly being a history making number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world(We'll find out on the 3rd) - within eight years.

Mcgregor should be mentioned more here, he is a PRIME example of a "self made" (although he himself doesn't like that word) super alpha i've ever witnessed in my life.

Haha, such beautiful display. 6 min in you see Dos Anjos submit to him. McGregor hit him where it hurts, showing that he abandoned his country and has no home. He looks like he wants to cry, lol. Dos Anjos tries to show him he's dumb by being technically right, haha losing even more face.

He's on the right side of the coin, but he's more cocky & overly personal than confident. Trash talk is all well and good when you're basically a marketable brand in front of TV cameras & 100 journalists, but if you or I do that it just sounds insecure. It still sounds somewhat insecure from him, but he's a fantastic fighter and makes money from publicity. I'm fed up listening to Mc Gregor, I only want to watch him fight.

McGregor has it all. He's outspoken, speaks his mind, is not afraid to make bold claims. He is extremely confident and exuberant.

One of my favorite things about him is that even when he's trash talking, the things he says are so creative/hilarious/eloquent and he delivers it all perfectly. Not like other fighters who come off tryhard/awkward when they try to talk shit back to him.

And lastly, outside the public eye, the guy is disciplined as a motherfucker. It is said that he does not like to take advice/instruction from one source (coach) but rather from multiple sources. Such sources being books, reading up on things such as the Law of Attraction.

The guy has both ends of the spectrum down, boisterous alpha confidence and calm spiritual discipline/focus. He's a great role model in my opinion.
