Backstory: Spoke to a girl on and off throughout the last half of 2012. gave me good signs, but would be an extremely slow replier and came up with excuses when I asked her to come over. She lives about a 5 minute walk from me. Took this as not interested and stopped wasting my time.

At a party last night and saw two guys I haven't seen for 5 odd years, one of the first thing they said to me is "you know who talks about you a lot? "Kate". they said she spoke about me non-stop. Did I read the signs wrong? what should I do?
