To me, the red flag isn't mentioning death in the first 15 minutes of meeting, its the fact that she believes that her sister still exists and they'll actually be reunited in death. Plate only, use contraception.

If the death was within the past year, its probably heavily on her mind still; death of a close family member is near the top of the life stress scale. People grieve in different and sometimes strange ways, best not to judge it superficially.

I personally wouldn't think too much of it, I'd note it by all means, but for the most part I'd try to recall her demeanor I guess.

Everyone has different beliefs, if you're in America the majority of people you meet will have similar beliefs.
