We can talk about theory all we want, tactics, whichever. But when it comes down to brass tacks, everything that we could ever want to learn about landing a woman(women) is already displayed in nature.

These sons of bitches are tiny, and they spend their time dancing in front of potential mates, showing off the colorful abdomen and those long, spindly legs to show which of them is best suited for mating. Literally, the female will just sit there and watch, and ignore him or pull the trigger. This is not uncommon in the animal kingdom. Which of us has the best feathers? Which of you can beat the other in a fight? Who has the biggest horns? Etc.

For us, as men, it can be very similar. Who is the best dressed? Who is the best looking (or who takes care of their appearance)? Are you fit? Do you observe personal hygiene?

As mentioned in another thread, men who don't see to those things will get ignored. We're invisible. We might not literally be dancing around in colorful shirts (ok, some of us may do that) but anytime someone undergoes a significant wardrobe change, or personal makeover, we are preparing for another performance in the courtship rituals (whether or not they end up being a LTR is another matter). All those spiders want to do is bang (or touch butts I'm not an arachnologist), make babies, and then the female probably gets a nice dinner after, courtesy of the male.
