I've never made a thread here before... but the "avoid violent confrontation at all costs" answers in this r/askmen thread are just too fucking pathetic to go unnoticed.

I'm not familiar with such threads but usually I do try to avoid violent confrontations. Mainly for legal purposes. If I get arrested my future job prospects will be greatly hindered. If its self defense than I will defend myself. If I can sense that a confrontation might happen, I will raise my voice and try to diffuse the situation. I generally will not be the first person to swing. If it comes to fighting, fight or flight mode kicks in with an emphasis on the former. Then its on.

Idk I've been in two 3v1 situations and wouldn't exactly jump into another one. I would definitely say something along the lines, hey buddy that's my girl show some respect but I'm not going to just start swinging
