We know why we are here. We know that a lifestyle abundant in women, money, and fulfillment will optimize happiness. We were all once lost.
Through trial and error, countless hours of reading and studying, and the shame that came with each and every failure, we have begun to mould ourselves into the men we wish to become. Some of us may have done this to win a woman, some to alleviate depressive tendencies, and some because they were ashamed of themselves. Either way, we found comfort on the path to success.
This was a mistake.
Did you forget what brought you here? Did you forget all of the struggles you endured, emotionally, physically and mentally, in order to rise to the top?
Yep, you did. That's why things are going to shit again.
Over the past few months, I have seen countless posts addressing a regression into old habits. A withdrawal into the warm womb of the blue pill worldview.
Marcus Aurelius wrote in his brilliant piece "Meditations" that the sign of a man who is still a boy is one who refuses to leave the bed in the morning. I'm sure this resonates with many of you, it definitely rings a bell for me.
You wake up in a bundle of warmth, lost in the embrace of your cocoon and your lover, and you wonder : Just a few more minutes wouldn't hurt, right? You justify your complacency and lack of initiative with a feeling, a feeling of safety and infancy. You bring emotion into a logical realm. This is not the time for such childish behavior, in order to succeed you must leave the womb at once.
When you take the Red Pill, you leave the womb. After the establishment has fed you ever delicious nourishment for years, you rip out the life-line that supported you and numbed you to reality from within. Your senses begin to rewrite your mind as they experience the true nature of the world. But then, you start to regress.
You reach for the umbilical cord and try to attach it once again. It may function, but you have already experienced life outside the womb, and you know something is off. Things inside start to frighten you. You fear the abandonment of your caretaker, you fear the unknown, what waits for you in reality. You notice that things are different here. There is less good and less evil. You yearn for the possibilities of infinite joy that you once gazed upon, and you begin to experience self-doubt once again.
Having had enough, in one swift motion, you rip the cord out violently at once. "ENOUGH" you shout. "This is no place for me". As you re-enter reality and begin to realign your behaviors with your beliefs, things suddenly start going your way again. The truth is now known.
You must leave the womb, and never return.
