Hey guys,

I just moved to Portland for work, leaving behind my entire social circle(friends, girls, fwb, fellow musicians, etc) from my previous city that I had tried very hard to build over a long period of time.

My question is that with a busy work schedule,on top of working out daily and pursuing other hobbies such as making electronic music which i am very passionate about.. i am finding it extrememly hard building a strong social circle in this city. I have been here 7 months and I am trying my best when i have time to go out.. i have no problem approaching girls and guys and striking up conversation, but I cant seem to be connecting on a deep level with anyone for them to want to meet up again. Guys and girls. I am 23, 24 soon so i dont think its my age. I look good, successful for my age, have interesting hobbies, abide by red pill tyheory (or at least try my best) so im not sure what it is.

I have noticed that ppl in the NW are a little closed off to stangers, but do you guys have any advice on how to meet fellow like minded guys and building true friendships? I mean guys who have their shit together, are good with women, workout, have your back etc.

What i am basically asking is guys in similar situations, how exactly did you build up your social circle after moving to a new city once you graduated from college? This is my first time so it is a new and difficult experiece. Im not going to lie, ive been going a little crazy from the isolation. Thanks

And meeting friends at work isnt an option. I work for my dad (hotel business) so i do not want to involve my work life with my personal life.
